DOUBLEMAIL PLUS
You want to run a mailing list so you can have a site newsletter, send special offers, make more money. We have one word for you - spam. As honest as you try to be, people are going to say that you sent them spam and if you do not have a double opt-in mailing list then they might have a point (as least from your host's point of view). Double opt in means that your potential customer has to confirm that they want their e-mail address added to the list. They sign-up then get an e-mail which they have to return or click a link on to be added to the list. Simple, effective and safe.
Those on a budget will find free mail-list programs out there. If it is not double opt-in then you may have a spam problem but you will definitely have a returned mail problem. With DOUBLEMAIL PLUS all the e-mails you send go to real addresses, without double opt-in you will have a list packed with false addresses. Every time you send a mailing you will get hundreds or thousands (we had one list with 32,000 addresses and 9,000 were fake so we got 9,000 bounced back e-mails with each mailing - this is a really good way to jam up the mail server and piss of your host) of returned mails.
SCREEN SHOTS
This is the main interface for DOUBLEMAIL PLUS. Just type in your mailing and the address you want it to come from and the subject. Using a special text code you can include an unsubscribe link that allows the reader to unsubscribe by clicking a link. When you click on send, you see each e-mail address as it is sent and are told when the mailing is complete. Tested with 30,000 names+ and we see no reason why it would not work with a lot more.
In the configuration section, you decide where subscribers are sent at each stage of the process ;-) This is fully explained in the installation instructions.
